For one Dan Henderson was fighting at 183lbs and Werdum joined PrideFC 2years before it folded, when Fedor was already a champion and Werdum loss bouts that would have propelled him towards a title shot. Instead Fedor spent his title reign fighting Fujita, Ogawas, 40yr old Mark Coleman, Khosaka, Zulu, Mark Hunt in his 7th in MMA fight coming off a loss. A bunch of cans and not good competition. Fedors best wins in his entire career were Nog, CroCop, Arlovski and Sylvia. Gtfo here with this narrative that his title reign was against elite competition. Once he started fighting good to great competition consistently he started losing, went back to internationally and lord behold he went on a win streak, comes back to good to great competition and starts getting wrecked again. All Fedor is is a myth & a lot of people can see that."Better competition" ..... two of the first 3 guys he lost to were actually fighting in Pride, and didn't get near a title shot with him. So I'm not sure how he was suddenly fighting better competition lmao
