Wrestling, submissions, elbows are not permitted.

Fighting takes place in a 6,5m x 6,5m (21'4" x 21'4") square combat pit surrounded by 45° angled walls.

A match consists of 3 rounds each lasting 3 minutes with the possibility of 2 additional rounds for championship fights.

Scoring uses a 10-point must system and is based on aggression and effectiveness of attacks.

3 judges evaluate each fight from a position around the combat pit.

Scoring cards are omitted in case of a knock-out.

Equipment consists of 4oz gloves, mouthpieces, groin protectors for male contestants, karate belts and officially designed long karate trousers with national emblems or flags.

A grounded opponent may use up kicks while the standing opponent may use ground punches.

After 5 seconds any grounded opponent will be brought back to a standing position by the referee.

Bol has a parlay option, i feel like Christmas has come early to us. Love all these cards.

Rafael Aghayev is now 400+ this just happened a few seconds ago, some mass money on Ramon Daniels. RD is pushing 43 and he looks old in his last fight, not as fast as before, Rafael is a game dog, he's got gold medals in karate and he has solid defense, he can score takedowns and gnp. I like him as a 400+ underdog.

Rafael Aghayev (@aghayev_rafael) • Instagram photos and videos
Rafael Aghayev (+385) over Raymond Daniels $10.00 to win $38.50

Great call.

i never got to reep the benefits, my parlay died by the time it got there, and the fight was not available to me anymore. Glad someone made some money.

Ricky Simon is going for 325+

@mkess101

Any reasoning why?

Miyao has one match in 2021 and then before that it's 2019. Why are the odds so skewed? Why won't ricky just control him with superior positional control? Is there something about the rules that don't favor lay and pray strategy? I'm baffled by the line movement.

I can't see Simon falling for some heel hook. Simon must be injured, this just boggles the mind.

Maybe people think it's his brother Paolo (who's a better bjj player) LOL?

Honestly, I really don't know anything about the rules of this thing. My gut tells me we've seen enough instances of active UFC caliber fighters doing well vs pure grapplers (Brady vs Jones the glaring recent one top of head) that Simon at these odds is worth a shot.

Yeah, I don't know if I'd say an MMA wrestler would have superior positional control vs a very decorated BJJ guy in a grappling comp.

exactly, i just think Simon has been actively competing and he has a crazy physical advantage and conditioning. He's have to completely drop the ball to lose this. Submitting jack shore who's a black belt has some weight too. who knows i hope it's not a case that i get creamed here for my lack of bjj knowledge.

But if you look at how Miyao grapples, he's a leg lock specialist, he's also not as strong physically. Remember that Simon took down Merab in their fight. Miyao hasn't grappled in 3 years competitively, the gap can't be too wide here.

Keep in mind that the Jack Shore sub came mostly due to Simon rocking his world on the feet, and Ricky never struck me as a guy with great top control, he pushes the pace and has good takedowns, but he's not stifling imo. He's also never really engaged that much on the mat with the best grapplers he's faced that I can't remember, he avoided Yahya's ground game for the most part for example.

That was in Merab's second UFC fight, and Ricky still went 2/7 and would've lost if not for the guillotine. And if we go that far back, we also have to take a look at his contender series fight against Frelow, where he struggled to control a very mediocre regional guy despite taking him down consistently.

By all means go for Ricky due to the wide odds, just be cautious of putting too much on him.

he's the one in black.

There is zero chance i see this same guy who just spams leg locks being able to out scramble Simon and getting on top , no freaking way.

based on what i know RIcky IS the superior top ctrl/position ctrl specialist here.

I will be in disbelief that in a no gi contest that the active ufc fighter is going to get out positioned by a non active bjj guy who doesn't have good takedowns and relies on bottom game bjj. I refuse to believe it.

But i did bet cautiously already, i still think the odds make zero sense. -150 at best for Miyao. Only a leg submission gets Ricky tapped, but Ricky knows how to keep his arms tight and hold position, I also like the open space in Kombat Karate arena.

so Ricky attempts to slam the kid on the invert and gets his leg caught like a dummy, could have just sat at full guard, opted to try and get a slam ko, retard alert. fading forever more, -30$ parlay.

As soon as they got close to the leaning part of the pit it was pretty much over. Ricky had no space or balance to properly disengage. Think it was a very weird move for him to compete against someone with hundreds of BJJ matches on record for his first grappling fight tbh.

i might completely just pass on grappling for betting. you can rig grappling, and no one would ever know. He either fixed it or just didn't give an eff and wanted an easy paycheck, opted for a ko slam or bust. The whole thing was bizarre. I acknowledge he could get leg locked tapped, but not that quickly.
