It can lead to slightly higher testosterone and estrogen at the same time, theoretically could give better gains and/or help you recover faster.

Ive actually tried it twice and didnt feel it helped to any measurable amount when i used it around 2014 or 2015 when I was serious about bodybuilding.

Did it a few years later again when doing more of a powerlifting routine and dont think it did much either. For what its worth, its 100% legal. You can buy a can of DHEA pills from Wal-Mart.
