C'mon guys seriously Forrest fought well but if you look at the Sherdog writers and how they scored it. Rampage comes out on top, just barely but enough for a unanimous decision. Forrest made it close but Rampage landed way more strikes. Forrest was aggressive but I honestly thought rampage won that fight, albeit barely. There is absolutely no way forrest won that fight, 3 rounds to 2 for Jackson. I am really disapointed not so much that Forrest won but that the judging was so far off what I was looking at.

I repeat it was close but no way in hell did forrest win a unanimous decision, if anything a split decision but even I don't agree with that. If Forrest won, then so did almeida.

It sucks when belts change hands on a decision this close. Sometimes 5 rounds just arent enough.

Especially when the fighter that got more beat up won.

Breen has it right, look at the PBP scoring.

47-47 draw!

Rampage stole the 1st w/ the knockdown 10-9

Griffin dominated the 2nd 10-8

No one did anything the 3rd round. So therefore I default to the champ. I'm not giving a belt away as a judge. The Challenger has to earn it. 10-9 Rampage.

Rampage 10-9 in round 4

Griffin 10-9 Round 5.

It was a draw boys. Forrest didn't do enough to win IMO. You have to BEAT the champ.

I was pulling for Forrest BTW.

Noone did anything in round 3? Well aside from Forrest controlling the pace, he had a triangle LOCKED IN.. compared to Rampages what that round? Rampage didn't even take Forrest down, It was more of Forrest pulling guard.. once again, controlling the pace of the fight.

I'm not arguing with you but look at how the Sherdog guys scored the fight. Some people with MMA knowledge saw it the other way. It was a close fight.

I can't wait to check that site that does the compubox for MMA, to show that Forrest threw, and landed more than probably double Rampages shots.

I would agree that you can score it like that.. but then you can also score round one 9-9 because Griffen was winning the whole round and Rampage won 5 seconds of it with the knockdown...

but I had it 48-46
rounds 2 4 5 for Griffen
round 2 as 10-8

Forrest threw shit punches all fight. Rampage was throwing with real intentions. Who cares if Forrest threw more garbage. Rampage still had the better shots.
