I can't believe I'm going to say this but GOLDBERG called it correct. Joe said Forrest was winning and Goldie seemed suprised and said, "I disagree, I have the champ ahead".

The unanimous decision is what surprised me the most, I figured it would be a split decision, but I did think Forrest won. I'm a bit surprised there are so many people that see it so differently then I.

To me, after the fight it looked like Rampage was the one who knew he had lost and Forrest looked like he thought he did enough to win, but was afraid the judges would see it differently. Again, a lot of people viewed this differently.

Personal opinion

Rd 1 10-9 Rampage
Rd 2 10-9 Griffin
Rd 3 10-10
Rd 4 10-9 Rampage
Rd 5 10-10

49-48 Rampage

That said, few judges do call a round 10-10, so I could see anything from 49-46 Rampage to 48-47 Griffin, with 48-47 Rampage splitting the close rounds.

There was a 10-8 round tonight, but it was Koscheck/Lytle Round 2. Nothing that Griffin did was close to that.
Hey superfan - a 10-10 round doesn't exist so your personal opinion isn't that great. to paraphrase the 10 point must systems it's "the round winner gets 10 points, with his/her opponent receiving 9 points or less". Make an informed contribution next time. and by the way, almost no one on here, including the 12 year olds who love rampage, is claiming anything other than forrest winning the 5th.

My worse fear now is that Dana is going to orchestrate Forrest vs. Chuck for the title before the year is up, before Shogun or Wanderlei or really Machida get a crack at him. I don't think that's fair but TUF drives the PPV dollars. Rampage deserves an immediate rematch but I fear by the time he has to fight Shogun, Machida, Anderson, and who knows else, he may never see a title shot again.

I'm ok with Forrest winning (although I disagree with the decision) but I think I'm going to be upset at how Dana keeps the good fights away from him in favor or the most PPV friendly.

He already beat Shogun.

Round 5 was forrest 10-9, Rampage came on at the end but Forrest won the round by being the aggressor and more active. Seriously WTF was Page thinking at the end there? He could have won if he gave 100% in round 5. I think he thought he was winning even though it was about dead even, so he fought round 5 not to lose.
