If we’re talking active fighters it’s ATT by sheer volume of top fighters and it’s not even close.

Not many famous fighters from there unfortunately other than Leon & Ian.

There's a bunch of new guys coming up under the current gyms.

But the older guys are all pretty much average at best tbf except for Leon and Tom Breese. Hopefully Tom can have a good run in the PFL.

There is something to be said for having that many high level guys in the same size/weight categories. It makes sparring/wrestling/grappling so much better when everyone everyday is a potential partner to work with. I’ve been to plenty of camps where the training partners that were my size were few and far between. Even big camps like Blackzilians I would regularly spar with LHW’s when I would compete at WW. It just felt like an exercise in futility lol.

But yes…it is the Manlet kingdom over there.

As for TS question, I’ve trained at AKA, ATT and Blackzilians.

AKA I was at waaay back in the day when kos, Thompson, Bobby, fitch etc were there the place was good but I only spent a few weeks there so I don’t have a ton of insight. Dave Camarillo was the jits coach and crazy Bob was running shit.

ATT I was at for a couple years. Was the best overall facility I’ve ever trained at. Had fantastic coaches and the fighter training was incredible. It is on par with any big camp I’ve ever been to and everyone was super cool. Only downside was they are pretty “corporate” vibes they are all about the $ and the overall training suffers as a result imo. They also franchise the name like crazy (I was at coconut creek hq) but there are lesser ATT’s littered around as a result which diminishes the brand imo.

Blackzilians is the best gym I ever trained at. I was with them for a couple years and every single day was the hardest day of training I ever experienced. Coaches were extremely on point. The sparring was hellish. The conditioning was next level. Plus gym camaraderie was awesome, I have nothing but love for all those guys.

Aljo being a buddy of a former coach of mine, I'm biasedly inclined to agree.
Their proximity to NYC with its abundant boxing and BJJ talent definitely has to help them punch way above their weight.
