Fought a lot of good people when they were at their absolute best. And fought a lot! People dont tend to realize it but there tend to be some heffy fights and decisions when you dont pick your fights.
 
There are people who use TRT and ensure their levels are getting to a normal or normal to high standard (which is fine), then their are people like Hendo and Vitor who used TRT and pushed their levels to double if not triple that of a normal human male. The latter is why TRT was banned as the commissions could not properly control it without a huge investment, but its unfortunate as using it when administered and tracked correctly doesnt offer any advantages it just levels the playing field for those that are deficient.

Hendo was great, just like Vitor was but its hard not to acknowledge their blatant abuse of the rules regarding TRT at the time.
 
People always talk about TRT and Vitor, but Dan might have had the biggest TRT resurgence of any fighter. In his first 'prime', he got a lot of BS split decision wins along with some really lackluster performances. Then he comes to the UFC, gets on the TRT, and turned into the orchestrator of violence we all remember fondly. WAR HENDO

Name just one fighter that used TRT when it was legal to get their levels "normal". Hint, there were none. A LOT of fighters used TRT because it was perfectly legal to do so. But they sure as fuck didn't use it because they needed it.

Thats my point, which is why it was banned...because guys like Hendo, Vitor and Chael abused the shit out of it.
