Yeah I have a couple of pieces of that drying in the mudroom waiting to be loved.
My wife will do those...I prefer the hard way lol.

My wife carved this into an end grain piece of 3/4 inch thick basswood.

Man that's awesome, I love stuff like that but just don't have the talent or time.

Gramps did all sorts of woodwork, carving, burning, scrimshaw. I wish I had half his skill.

He was big into pioneer type stuff, would take old horns and make them for black powder for a muzzleloader, scrimshaw scenes into them. Cool if you're into that type of thing.
