I assessed the Dragon Dogma 2 plat after beating this week (I don’t look during first playthrough per tradition) and hell to the nah, nah; ridiculous asks, IMO. Is the Ronin plat a palatable one? I like hard plats, just not missables overkill and fetch hell.
Seems fairly easy, just going to take around 60 - 70 hours from what I've heard. You've got your typical story base trophies but beyond that it is a lot of completion stuff like pet all cats, complete all bond missions, go on a mission with every ally, take a photograph of every scenic spot, etc.

Nothing is missable since you can go back and play previously complete missions.

Italian Souls title Enotria can be wishlisted from PS Store. Just a heads-up. Priced at 50€ and launching September.
Isn’t this the game that didn’t get a GamePass deal and basically said fuck it, we ain’t making it for Xbox then. Basically saying not worth the effort for such little sales. Kind of got a point. I saw that they have 15 minutes of gameplay. Did you watch it? I’m planning to when I have some time.

We’re definitely getting a Showcase soon, just way too many rumors out there. I’m thinking since there was no announcement it will be May 30 or 31 with an announcement next week. Now the rumor is we are getting a Horizon themed Lego game. Might be cool considering all the robots the franchise has. Also having a daughter means she can play it in a couple of years

They never stated that was the reason but certainly possible. There main excuse was they can't support all three and need to focus on the big 2 first.

Just watched that showcase. Graphics and art style are very cool and the combat sounds promising. They are releasing a demo on May 22 until July.

Going on the wishlist. And I just noticed Dist is playing the demo so I'm going to check it out.

Yeah, we're working on it as I write this. Sorry for any inconvenience. As a workaround, you can just type over the x for domain in the pasted embed link with twitter.

Ronins worldwide getting love this week with Nioh and Ninja Gaiden crossover content – cool article; will throw up cliffs:

Team Ninja is adding 5 new missions to Rise of the Ronin later this week 🔥

–––

On Gaiden carryover:

From a very early development stage, we have discussed with PlayStation Studio’s XDEV team our desire to include costumes from the Ninja Gaiden series. When considering which costumes and weapons to implement, we’ve agreed on the costume of the main character, Ryu Hayabusa, as an iconic and recognizable costume for an in-game armor design.

Historically, ninjas are said to have existed during the Bakumatsu period (late 19th century), which is the setting for Rise of the Ronin so there is a high degree of affinity with the worldview of these titles.

One of the combat styles, Hayabusa-ryu, was initially implemented at the same speed as in the original, but the attacks were so fast and extremely powerful that we struggled to adjust them to match the game speed of this new version for Rise of the Ronin.

In addition to Hayabusa’s iconic moves, such as the Izuna Drop, we also incorporated as many of Ninja Gaiden’s techniques as possible, such as his Ultimate Technique.

Rise of the Ronin marks the first appearance of Ninja Gaiden-related content on PS5, so re-creating these features in high-resolution 4K format was a challenge. The distinctive costumes of the Hayabusa-ryu ninja, such as the raptor-inspired headgear and sleeveless armor, were newly designed with the image of reconstructing them with weapons and materials from the end of the Edo period. We believe that this fits seamlessly into the worldview of this game and hope that our fans of the series will enjoy these references.

On Nioh carryover:

As it has been nearly two months since the release of Rise of the Ronin, let me give you a bit of a spoiler, that William, the main character of Nioh, appears as a hidden boss in this game. We decided to have him appear early in the planning stage, as we thought it would be a pleasant surprise for those who have played the Nioh series.

As the game is set in the late Edo period when Japanese and Western cultures started mixing, and many Westerners such as Commodore Matthew Perry appear, so I believe the appearance of William wearing armor was implemented in a way that didn’t feel out of place.

(...)

The armor he is wearing is based on the Obsidian Armor that appeared in the Nioh series, and incorporates distressed design that evokes the passage of time from the Nioh era to the end of the Edo period.

I love all the praise this game is getting. Makes me excited to play when I'm ready for a Team Ninja game.

Starting Tunic to keep me busy until either V Rising or Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus. I took out the first boss. Tricky little game.

Yeah, I have 28 days until my Shadow of Erdtree preorder is ready so I have to be picky right now not to start anything major and Rise of Ronin was the next game on my radar, unfortunately. Not sure what to do; am playing MP competitive stuff ATM – no SP journey. Looking forward to William and Hayabusa stuffs when I do jump in as I love both Team Ninja legacies.
