Was going to take the whole workout off, but I wanted to do something. Elbow still hurting so I didn't press. Don't really want to have my elbow blow out holding 240 pounds over my head. Plus, I lift in a half rack. The top safety only goes up to by belly button, I was imagining some Final Destination shit happening to me lol. On a positive note, this is the most I squatted pain free in about 6 months. Quad and hip are slowly getting better. Wanted to test it with some heavier weight. Good thing too is it doesn't feel like I lost too much strength.
 
Walk - 30 minutes, 3.0 mph, 6% incline

Kid had a little 3 man local freestyle tournament today. He won. He tech'd the first kid 10-0 in 40 seconds and then caught the other kid in a like a cowcatcher flip pinning combo off his shot. He said he's been practicing it. He's in blue.

Conditioning - BJJ

Shark Tank - ABCD, 5 minutes each person
Round 1: Victim starts out playing closed guard. Scenario is down by 1 with 90 seconds left, must score while the guy on top stalls and takes a pass if you leave an opening. If you fail to score in 90 seconds, next guy comes in. If you get points or a sub, next guy comes in.

Round 2: Victim is now passing closed guard while the bottom guy stalls under the same circumstances.

Fucking hell. My group was a fucking killer, another purple belt that is right around my size and skill level that I love working with, and the 275 pound white belt that likes to smush my ribs.

Two 5-minute live rolls, with ... oh both with black belts. Fun.

Dead.

Conditioning - BJJ

No Gi Thursday

Drilled an ankle pick takedown from a whizzer/front facelock, and then a single leg transition when they step out of the ankle pick.

Drilled two variations of knee cut passes.

Four 5-minute live rolls. The last one was with a kid from the teens class, but before that I was with two black belt killers so fuck that kid, I'm counting it. I whipped his ass!
