RIZIN, MMA, betting thread

Bet365 added lines for Rizin 42 this morning, very happy that this is becoming a regular thing.

At first glance I’m liking a +231 parlay of Archuleta (-180) and Dodson (+115). I think their ages are being factored against them in the line but the experience levels are way too high.

It would be a real surprise if Dodson got stopped by a decision machine like Saomoto, and his speed will likely be too much for the younger fighter.

For Archuleta the guy has been in there against the best, I doubt Inoue is going to be able to hit a submission on him when Patchy couldn’t back in 2020. I think he should look better than he did against Kim too, this being his second fight in Japan.

Let me know if I’m way off base

Rukiya Anpo vs 40 year old baukaw k-1 rules

Wont end well for baukaw

Anpo 2.65

Seeing some lines now. Motoya / Archuleta / Majima / Carlyle all look reasonably attractive at those prices.

Two for two on Rizin parlays this month, sounds like Archuleta/Inoue was pretty back and forth.

Lost a sprinkle on Carlyle though

@EndlessCritic whats ur thoughts on fading 6-6 Karate dude Kinoshita against an actual credentialed kickboxer? Dude has killed and been killed by cans could seem massive value unless im missing something

Girdham worth adding to a parlay? So far only took Kleber and Yachi since they should have a massive advantage over their opponents.

Kubo 1,000 to win 860
Girdham + Yachi 750 to win 737

i think so. He has great standup and grappling I dont know why money is coming back on the other dude who has fought nobody

If this is accurate how do you not bet the Italian gangster at even?
Stylistically they match well, he may not have the sub threats of Mix to get the finish. Magomed is a better finisher. Sabetello has a questionable chin because of that Rivera ko loss in 2019. i can see Magomed pulling off the upset. I actually think Magomed is better than Stots.

*not upset cause they are both -110 -115

Worth noting that the Sabatello/Magomedov portion will be in a cage, have to think that helps Sabatello.

Apparently the cage will be disassembled during the intermission after the McKee/Patricky fight and the ring will be up for the Rizin card.
