O I just feel like talking about these things for the millionth time gets old, Aldo has the most defenses over a more diverse set of opponents. His age is irrelevant as he had lots of fights already and injuries . Volk was getting close but has been slept bad and spent too much of his championship fighting max.

Who did Aldo beat?

Mendes? Lost to Conor and Volk
Frankie? Lost to Max and Ortega
Zombie? Lost to Volk, Max and Ortega
Lamas? Lost to Max
Cub? Lost to Max and Ortega
Faber was a BW who never even a UFC title

The level of competition was significantly worse during Aldo’s reign that’s why his “prime” suddenly ended at 29, when killers like Conor, Max and Volk came along, lol.

So because people lose eventually no wins are good? What stupid logic. And WEC title is the UFC title. You can say the competition was worse but that doesn’t matter ( even though it’s not true) it’s how well you do against your peers at the time and aldo was far above his peers.
Conor the killer? The guy who could never defend? Get outta here you just exposed yourself . Max and volk were great champs just couldn’t match aldo.

Lol. WEC was basically a USA/ Brazil promotion. Look at where the last champions have come from. Conor- Ireland, Volk- Australia and Ilia- Spain. Those countries weren’t even on the MMA map when Aldo fought in WEC. The sport is much more global then it was back when Aldo was the champ and the level of competition is much higher.

None of Aldo’s competition have ever beaten Conor, Max, Volk or even Ortega. And most of those fights happened close to the time when Aldo fought them.

Conor not killer? Lol. He went undefeated at FW in UFC, finishing Aldo in 13 seconds and also finishing guys like Mendes, Poirier and beat Max as well. Conor actually might’ve been the best FW we’ve ever seen.

When it's all said and done, we could look back and consider Max to have the better career.
Right now, I think volk has the better of the 2.

You’re yet to provide a single argument on how Aldo is better. Conor dispatched Aldo in 13 seconds and it wasn’t a fluke. Conor predicted the exact sequence and he had KO’ed an opponent prior to UFC in the exact same way.

Conor also KO’d Mendes who’s Aldo’s best win. Conor also beat Max and Max beat Aldo twice. And if you you think Aldo would’ve beaten Nate at 170 or Khabib, you’re out of your damn mind. Conor was bigger, more powerful and had better timing than Aldo.

You could make an argument that Volk is the best FW ever or even for Topuria, but it’s really hard to do it for Aldo. Even Max is clearly above him. Aldo was a good explosive striker with great TDD. He didn’t have offensive wrestling/grappling to threaten elite fighters, he had issues with cardio and often times was a bit reckless with his striking relying on his speed, which he often got countered for. He didn’t have much KO power either. Conor, Max, Volk and probably even Topuria beats any version of Aldo.
 
He’s fighting Justin next. I hope to fuck he’s more concerned with that fight than the fucking FW GOAT rankings.

One fight at a time, man.
 
In my view, Holloway could never be the FW GOAT, losing 3 times to Volkanowski. How could anybody rank Max ahead of a guy he's 0-3 against?
