What happen is that he probably took an over the counter supplement that was tainted. Didn't yoel Romero test positive and proved that the supplement company had tainted ban substance in a product that supposed to be approved.

They're running a CIR test right now to check whether it was introduced into his body exogenously (synthetically). The tainted supplement excuse can work with Ostarine, which is an orally administered PED that he popped for, but not so much with Nandrolone. The latter is an injectable and works similarly to testosterone. While there are some oral preparations they all have extremely low bioavailability since it's primarily intended to be injected intramuscularly.

Now what are the odds that both of these PEDs were found in any of his supplements (which he says he doesn't even take)?

that's a reallly mild-mannered response . Garcia not only broke the terms of the contract by not making weight. He didn't even TRY. Then, it turns out the whole time he's been on steroids. So, to beat haney, he had to DOUBLE cheat. He's an absolute scumbag of the worst sort.

What garcia really deserves is prison time. He should also be made to pay back the individuals who paid for the fight. He should be banned for boxing for life...and of course this result should be stricken from the record, call it a no-contest, an exhibition or whatever, just delete it from both fighters' records.

Also, Garcia should be made to go on an apology tour...he should be held up as an example of the filth that boxing produces when oversight becomes so lax, fighters feel they can get away with literally anything. He signed to fight Haney who was WBC champ. Garcia had to be tested by VADA due to the WBC's Clean Boxing Program (CBP) requiring it. He didn't volunteer. But, let's say that he did. Fighters volunteer all the time and they pop. It makes no difference. Garcia has now failed two tests for a couple different PEDs. One of which is a powerful anabolic steroid. He failed the day before the fight and on the day of. It's not looking good at all for him.
