Crime Donald Trump Hush Money Fraud Trial

Held in contempt for the 10th time, with no jail. Two tiers of justice indeed….
Thats because his "contempt" is just more nonsense from a crooked New York court. No one takes this justice system seriously anymore. Why would they after witnessing the E. Jean Carrol case.

No. It’s also about illegally falsifying business records and also committing campaign finance violations.

In order to give a porn star hush money after sexual relations with her, correct?

I made a joke awhile ago it was like Jon Jones getting warned for eyepokes, and if he has to get warned again then the next one will be a strict warning

Pretty much watching that play out

I think Trump is hoping? for jail time so that he can further claim to be a victim? That's the only play that makes sense here.
Not saying you're wrong necessarily, but it's Trump you're talking about. It doesn't have to make sense. It just has to go over well with the MAGA-nauts.

There's also the Inquirer catch and kill program they ran for him. Guess where the money to pay for that came from?
That would be the catch and kill for the story of him banging a porn star, yeah?

In order to give a porn star hush money after sexual relations with her, correct?
No, he could’ve done that without falsifying business records. What the trial is about—that was your question, right?—is illegally falsifying business records to cover up payments made to kill a story that would ostensibly harm Trump in the election, in an attempt to manipulate and undermine the integrity of the election. That is what it is about.

That's not the only one. But I don't have a list so please don't ask me. Ask google instead.

lol.... That's the reason Judge Merchan did NOT throw Don in the clink for Contempt #10......because the trial is so rigged? If that were the case, you'd have to assume that it is rigged in favor of Von Shitzenpants.
Does that make sense to you somehow?

The only reason Donny wasn't sent to the tombs is because the offence heard today occured prior to Judge Merchan's 1st contempt ruling.

You can expect a jail tour after Donny fucks up again, though.

Okay. What this case is about is him having an affair with a Playboy model for 9 months, him getting his Naional Enquirer buddy to catch and kill her story, him never paying his friend back, then asked him to do the same for the Stormy fucking. Of which Pecker told him to fuck off. Now, we're in this mess of where the funds came from and if it influenced him becoming president.

Look, I'm just gonna be honest. There's a clear double standard here. Most, not all, of the people who are adamant that Trump should be found guilty don't have the same conviction when it comes to other rich, powerful people/politicians.

Ultimately, for me, it seems like something he'd do and since it's actually reached the point of coming to trial he should be found guilty. I don't want to excuse behavior like this, but at the same time I'm not gonna put my head in the sand and pretend it isn't pretty par for the course. I live in California and it's amazing how many people would say a shitbag like Newsom should run for President while at the same time going out of their way to condemn Trump for something like this.

Now, if this were some kind of new Renaissance to hold rich, powerful people/politicians to the same standards of everyone else and go after every one them with the same zeal, then I'd be all for it. 100%. But you have to know that that isn't what's happening here. They aren't going to go after Biden once he's out of office. And the truth is, if you stuck a huge team for years on top of practically any powerful politician, or probably any billionaire, you're gonna find some "irregularities".

This doesn't mean I'm justifying it. I'm acknowledging that it happens. At the end of the day singling out one target for political reasons, which, let's be fair, is whats happening here, is kinda bullshit. Like if there was some sort of effort to actually start "cleaning up" politicians I'd be fine with it, but thats not what this is.

Seriously? How long have the Republicans been investigating Biden only to find absolutely fuck all? A year? More? And their main source turned out to be fed entirely by Russian disinformation. So to what do you want Biden held accountable?

It's not all politicians that are so clearly crooked and flaunting their crimes in front of the American people with the expectation of never being punished for them. Just Trump. If there's a double standard it's the kid glove treatment Trump is receiving compared to pretty much any other accused criminal.

trump spent his whole presidency scheming and cooking up ways to charge biden with something lol what is this

Haha that’s a good analogy :)
I don’t know if Trump is *hoping* for jail, but I think he’s going to do whatever he wants and will certainly play victim/martyr if they do sentence him to jail. He’ll certainly use that to rile up his base.
That’s why I’m counting on the Judge to have some patience and let the Court Jester go on with the show, implementing the fines with no trip to the tank.

Just let the hearing play out with as little to no delays, only about three weeks left. At the end of the day, the case will be deliberated and the Court Jester will have no reasons for an Appeal on the grounds of Due Process, for being locked up during his trial.

If the trial and the witnesses continue as is, just getting to the end with a decision will be a harsher penalty then tossing him into the tank for a day.

I didn't say all, I think it's pretty standard, though.

I don't recall Trump flaunting that he fucked Stormy Daniels and maneuvered campaign funds to shut her up. He's denying it like he denies basically every criticisms of himself ever, because he's a whiny man-child.

Trump is basically the same as a large amount of other people in the same game, he just doesn't have the savvy or the filter between his brain and his mouth. Which can actually be a bit refreshing as a political candidate, because he's probably the most "what you see is what you get" candidate of my lifetime. But then you get mindless tweets and random diatribes that have fuck all to do with anything.

the problem with this particular "what you see is what you get" is that what you see is a self absorbed man-child silver spoon asshole. that's not really refreshing to me. i'm glad he's letting us know. but it doesn't make me want to be lead by him.

come on trumpty dumpty. let's here how you really feel about the jury and the daughter of the judge who is deciding your fate. you're the one who says he wants to go to jail. you want to be known as the next nelson mandela, even though you'll be remembered as nothing more than the next heap of maga trash to get hauled off to jail just to own the libs. make it happen my dude!

melania be like "don't you listen to him donald! don't you let this man tell you what to do! go out there and speak your mind!"

let him keep talking, don't make any more rulings just to keep von schitzenpantz thinking "oh goody, he's not going to do anything! i'm just going to keep toddling around on truth social and throwing my shit at the wall!" and then after the trial is over and the jury reads the verdict, sentence him in contempt to 30 days for every violation, to be served consecutively while he waits for his sentencing day of this trial. let him waste the higher courts time and do his appeals after he's already convicted and there's no more rulings coming from the bench. don't give him any opportunity to stall this trial.

That’s because they need evidence of a crime to “go after” him. The republican house has been investigating for months and months and hasn’t found shit.

In all of Trump’s cases there’s mountains of it. Hell, in the Stormy case, Cohen has already served time for committing the crimes that Trump falsified records to conceal.

he is? where? and when? it hasn't been in the courtroom. hell, it hasn't even been on diaper don's own social media platform. we must have missed that part.

doesn't really look like the devoted christian family man who has cheated on every wife he's ever had is vehemently trying to deny this. at least not the affair.

the party of family values.
